Iconic Buildings 

Created during the COVID lockdowns, this artwork is a reflection of my love for travel and historic architecture, inspired by the works of William Turner and his ability to capture light. Using a watercolour transfer technique, I sketched and painted Venetian buildings onto an etching palette, before transferring them onto paper. This body of work captures the essence of light and atmosphere, inviting viewers to appreciate the beauty of the world around us. I enriched the artwork with detailed brushwork to add depth and enhance the form, creating a visual narrative of the beautiful world we live in.
